Westlife Rumours
Westlife have had so much succes by now that they are over the top already?:
Shane: I dont agree with that. We are still working to be the biggest boyband ever. Of course we've came far already but as long as we still have the energy and "drive" to go on we surely will.
Apart from Bryan and Shane, nobody in Westlife can sing?:
Bryan: One of the most important things to get in Westlife was that you could sing, so we all can sing. Looks did'nt play a part, as you can see, haha!
You're allowed to know everything about westlife except their pincode?:
Mark: There are some things we'd rather not talk about. You shouldnt ask about our sexual fantasies and that kinda crap because it has got nothing to do with our music and job.
Westlife are multi-millionaires:?
Nicky: We dont like to talk about Money but yes you are right, we do have alot money but we worked hard enough for it.
Shane Interview
What keeps Shane awake at night and what's his biggest worry?
Do you think you'll all still be mates when you're 80?
I dunno. I doubt we'll all be alive to be honest - maybe one of us will! The chances are we won't all be alive when we're 80, but we'll definitely be mates all our lives, There's no way we'll to forget about each other.
How often do you wash your hair?
It depends - usually about five or six times a week. Sometimes it gets really dry if i have a photo shoot. It's weird - it gets dry more than anything else. I just shampoo it and use conditioner once every three weeks. (totp: you're suposed to use it everytime!)
Are you? Oh, Ok.
How mandy pillows do you like in bed?
One and a half. I usually have two, but i pull one down a bit, unless i lie flat on my back - then it's one. I put one pillow in between my knees. You need a bit of room, You know what i mean? (totp: no! Do tell.)
How do you feel about being the 'lifer who is most in demand?
I never really think about it to be honest. I don't know why it happens, but sometimes people recognise one more than the others. I just do what i do. I just love to sing. We're a very equel band. We always do whatever is best for the band - that's the way it is.
Do you carry any lucky charms?
No, but i do have a bracelet that i forgot to give back at one of our photo shoots!. Mum has a holy medal which blesses everytime i go home. Me mum's really holy - my whole family are. I always say my prayers every night - It's the one thing i always do. I have to before i go to sleep.
Do you worry about dieing or getting old?
Not really, no. Some days i'll think about what it's going to be like when i'm really old. Sometimes i worry if i'll get a disease, God forbid. If i ever get one of those terrible deseases... It's just horrible. I pray to God i never get anything like that. I don't worry about it everyday - maybee once a year, but then i do really wonder what it'd be like to have something like that.
What would it be like to leave behind a wife and kids?
Terrible.
When was the last time your feelings were hurt?
I haven't had my feelings hurt in a long time. This business has made me more mature - i look at life in a different way. We've seen the world, every country, and you dont usually see that until your 30 or 40, it at all.
Are you embarrassed by your naked body?
Not really, no. Well, sometimes, yeah. If i look at myself in the mirror naked, i don't get embarrassed cos it's me. But i might think i've lost alot of weight or i look to skinny - or put on weight! Know what i mean?.
Do you spend much on beauty products?
I use one facial cream PH5.5. Becouse we wear make-up so much we break out in spots easily, so i wear it afterwards. I use moisturiser if i shave before a shoot cos wearing make-up straight after shaving can bring you out in a rash very easily.
Do you get nasal hairs or ear hairs? Yeah, but not badly - i've never had to clip them. They don't grow, they just stay up there. I'm a very hairy person, but i swear i don't get them there.
What keeps you awake at night?
Headaches sometimes. I had one last night and i was awake until about 5am. I took a tablet and it went away eventually. Sometimes if we have a single coming out i stay awake wondering if it's going to get to number 1. Especially now, with the amount of number 1s we've had, there's alot more presure on us. It gets harder with every No 1 you have. It just gets harder.
